This kit is to be used to stabilise a broken condenser fan frame with 130mm leg centres to allow the fan to rotate freely without catching the fan cowling or the heat exchanger extending the life of the condenser.
Instructions
- Remove the Condenser front cover to reveal the fan frame.
- Remove the rusted base and part of the fan frame – ensuring that the frame legs are no more than 75mm above the condenser base.
- Add silicone into the upright tubes of the repair kit.
- Fit the fan frame legs into the tubes.
- Fix the repair kit to the condenser base using the screws and washers provided.
- Replace the condenser front cover and ensure the top fan frame screws are in place to bring the fan to its correct location.
- Add the shims to the top of the frame as necessary to ensure the fan is not catching on the housing.
- Run the condenser to check the fan is not catching.
- Allow the silicone to set.
